Releasing Exterior 解表

Releasing exterior: promoting sweating thus the toxin can be expelled and relieving the exterior syndrome.

Herbs for releasing exterior of wind cold syndrome: fang feng, ma huang,  zi su, sheng jiang (fresh ginger), xi xin,  cang er zi,  jiang huo,  bai zhi,  jin jie,  gui zhi, xin yi,  xiang ru (Elscholtzia patrini, Garche.),  hao ben,  cong bai (white part of green onion,Allium fistulosum L.),  hu sui, cheng liu (Tamarix chinensis).

Herbs for releasing exterior of wind heat syndrome: jiu hua,  bo he,  chai hu, ge gen, sang ye, sheng ma,  niu bang zi, man jing zi,  can rui,  dan dou chi, fu pin, mu zei.

解表:使 病人汗出,而達到外邪從汗而外泄,表証得以解除。
 

發散風寒藥:防 風麻 黃 紫蘇生 薑細 辛蒼 耳子薑活 白芷荊芥 桂枝辛 荑 ,香薷, , 蔥白, 胡荽,檉柳。

發散風熱藥:菊 花 薄荷 柴 胡葛根桑 葉升 麻牛蒡子蔓 荊 子 蟬 蛻淡豆豉浮 萍
