1.風寒 束表，邪鬱衛分。證見發熱，惡寒較重，無汗，頭痛，身痛，流清涕，多噴嚏，稍有咳嗽，無痰，苔薄白，脈浮緊。治宜辛溫解表，常用荊防敗毒散加減。
2.風熱犯肺，邪在衛分。證見發熱較重，稍有惡寒，有汗不多，頭痛，咳嗽，痰少而黏稠，或咽喉腫痛，口乾欲飲，舌紅，苔薄黃，脈浮數。治宜辛涼解表，常用銀翹散加減。
