tian shu point  ST26，天樞穴 (in English and Chinese 中英文)

Location: tian shu points （ST25）are located about 3 finger width on both side of the navel.

Using acupuncture or moxibustion on tian shu point can improve intestine and bowel function, eliminate or reduce syndromes caused by various intestinal dysfunction.

Indications:

1. abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, dysentery and other gastrointestinal diseases.

2. irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea and other gynecological disorders.
    

 Operation: straight down piercing 1 to 1.5 cun.

天樞穴

【定位】臍中旁開2寸(肚臍向左右三指寬處)

 天樞是大腸之募穴，是陽明脈氣所發，主疏調腸腑、理氣行滯、消食，是腹部要穴。大量實驗和臨床驗證，針剌或艾灸天樞穴對於改善腸腑功能，消除或減輕腸道功能失常而導致的各種證候。具有顯著的功效。
 

主治：

1. 腹痛、腹脹、便秘、腹瀉、痢疾等胃腸病。

2. 月經不調、痛經等婦科疾患。
   
    

操作：直刺 l～1.5寸。

禁忌：《千金》：孕婦不可灸
