Peninsula, Chimei island of Penghu, Green Island and Orchid

原產地:夏威夷、馬來西亞、印度尼西亞、臺灣、

菲律賓、越南、非洲、關島和印度西部南太平洋

的海島地在台灣,分佈 於恆春半島、澎湖七美嶼、

綠島及蘭嶼等地的海岸森林內。[1]

Medical functions:

藥理﹕

 

1 in vitro tests, the ethanol extract of noni leaves showed that

there was good effect in getting rid of human roundworm as an

anthelmintics

2 hepatoprotective effect: noni fruit juice has a

protective role in acute liver damage (CCl4-induced liver  injury

in female Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats).
3 immunomodulatory effects: noni fruit juice to mice in vivo and

in vitro experiments, continuous oral 16 days, increase the interferone γ

(IFN-gamma) levels, and its mechanism is CB2 receptor activation and inhibition

of IL-4 role.

1.海巴戟嫩葉中的乙醇提取物,體外試驗表明,對人蛔蟲有良好的

驅腸蟲作用。
2.保肝作用:檄樹果汁具有保護急性肝受損作用(CCl4誘發肝損傷,

雌性Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats)。
3.免疫調節作用:檄樹果汁體內與體外實驗給予小鼠,連續口服16天,

可增加γ干擾啊素(IFN-gamma)的含量,

其機轉是活化CB2受器,並抑制IL-4的作用。

Upper respiratory tract infection, sore throat, hepatitis, jaundice, damp-heat  

dysentery, diarrhea, scalding and burns, swelling of unknown origin, eczema,

gum disease, skin irritation, cellulitis, allergic dermatitis, high blood pressure,

diabetes.

上呼吸道感染,咽喉腫痛,肝炎,黃疸型肝炎,濕熱瀉痢,痢疾,

湯火燙傷,無名腫毒,濕疹,牙齦糜爛,牙周病,皮膚紅腫,

蜂窩組織炎,過敏性皮炎,高血壓,糖尿病。

Chemical ingredients:

根含 (the roots contain):
2-甲基-7-羥基-8-甲氧基蒽醌(2-methyl-7-hydroxy-8-methoxy-anthraquinone),
morintrifolins A、B,1,2-dihydroxyanthraquinone,1,3-dihydroxy-2-methylanthraquinone,
2-hydroxy-3-(hydroxymethyl)anthraquinone,1,3,6-trihydroxy-2-methylanthraquinone。

p-cresol,p-hydroxybenzoic acid, p-hydroxybenzaldehyde,
4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde,4-hydroxy-3-methoxycinnamaldehyde, 
2,5-dihydroxy-4-methoxybenzaldehyde,plumbagin,alizarin,purpurin,
chrysazin,emodin,anthrarufin,morinaphthalenone,scopoletin,
1, 3-dimethoxy-anthraquinone,1, 2-dihydroxy-anthraquinone,
1,5,15-tri-O-methylmorindol,
2-O-(beta-D-glucopyranosyl)-1-O-hexanoyl-beta-D-gluropyranose,
2-O-(beta-D-glucopyranosyl)-1-O-octanoyl-beta-D-gluropyranose

morinthone (4-methoxy-3-heptadecylxanthone),
1-hydroxy-2-methylanthraquinone, 2-hydroxymethylanthraquinone,
morindicinone(2-hydroxy-1,8-dimethoxy-7-methoxymethylanthraquinone),
morindicininone(4-hydroxymethyl-1,3-dimethoxyanthraquinone),
2-hydroxyanthraquinone,2-methoxyanthraquinone
葉含 (leaves contain):
citrifoside,1,5,15-trimethylmorindol

Dosage:

用量﹕

Oral consumption: decoction, 15 ~ 30 g, or fresh herb 60 ~ 120 g;

or make into the powder or make into juice and mix with honey for

oral consumption or for gargling. External use: appropriate amount,

washed, smashed apply topically or with decoction; or sun dry and make into

powder and apply as paste; or make into topical creams, or face cream and apply.

內服:煎湯,15~30 g,鮮者60~120 g;或入散劑或絞汁蜜調服或搗汁含漱。

外用:適量,洗淨,搗爛外敷或煎水洗或晒乾研末調敷或製成外用藥膏、

面霜塗敷。

Samples of formulae:

處方舉例﹕

To blacken hair : pandan leaves, as much as 7 sheets, washed and cut into pieces .
Boil with 1 liter of water and simmer until the color is green . Let the decoction sit
overnigh. The next morning , squeeze 3 ripe noni fruit to get juice. Mix the juice

with the leaf decoction made earlier. Use the mixture to wash hair . Do it 3 times

Hepatitis with jaundice: xi shu guo (noni fruit) 30 g, sabah snake grass (you dun cao)

30 g,fresh pandan leaves 60 g. Boil with water and take orally. (Source: Hulu.com,

黃疸型肝炎:諾利果30  克,沙巴蛇草(憂遁草)30 克,香林投鮮葉60 克,

水煎服。(葫蘆網.驗方組)*看毒素與禁忌條。

黑髮方:香蘭葉 (香林投葉),洗淨,切成片,可多達7張。
加水1公升,燒開,燉直到水色成綠色。將湯汁放過夜。第二天早上,

將成熟的諾麗果(檄樹果) 擠汁。混合混入香蘭葉(香林投葉)煎劑。

Toxicity & Cautions:

毒素與禁忌

The Panel on Dietetic Products, Nutrition and Allergies of European Food Safety Authority 
concludes that ‘Morinda citrifolia (Noni) fruit puree and concentrate as novel food 
ingredients’ under the specified conditions are considered safe for the general population. 
However the Panel considers that the increasing number of case reports might indicate
 that some individuals have a particular sensitivity for hepatotoxic effects to noni fruit products. 
 
Noni fruit (and its products) are listed by the U.S. State Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
 as toxic items.
There are reports that:
(1) those with renal dysfunction had higher chance for renal damage.
(2) more cases of acute hepatitis have been reported after consumption of noni products.
 
歐洲食品安全局的飲食產品,營養和過敏專家小組得出結論認為諾麗果漿和
濃縮新型食品對於一般人群,在特定條件下被認為是安全的。
然而,小組認為,越來越多的病例報告可能表明,一些人對諾麗果產品的肝
毒性作用特別敏感。
 
本品(及其產品)被美國國家藥物食品管理局(FDA)列為有毒植物。
有報告指出:
(1)腎功能低下的人,更會造成腎功能的傷害。
(2)多例在食用諾麗產品後,造成急性肝炎。
