Chinese Chronological
System
By:
Joe Hing Kwok Chu
The chronological system of Chinese history is
based on the Dynasties of China and the years of the individual emperors
of the different dynasties. It is difficult to accurately translate into
the western system which is based on the years of Christ. This might seem
strange to westerners but using the years of one person (Christ) or
using the years of different emperors is based on the same logical (or illogical)
thinking.
