xue bi 血痺    (in English and Chinese 中英文)

Xue bi occurs in the peripheral and is a vascular disease. The arteries of the extremities  occurs sudden outbreak of spasms. The skin is pale from lack of blood or locally lack of oxygen and become purple in color. The syndromes is like "cold extremities" as described in the  Chinese medical classics. The syndrome is like Renaud's disease.

 血痺是發生於肢端的一種血管性疾病,多由四肢末端動脈發 生陣發性痙攣,使皮膚因缺血而成蒼白色或局部缺氧而發紺。似屬於祖國醫學“四肢逆冷”的証候范圍。其症候有如雷諾氏病。
