 e jiao mei lian wan 阿膠梅連丸

Translated by: Joe Hing Kwok Chu     (in English and Chinese 中英文)

Name of Formula: e jiao mei lian wan

Application: yinxu (yin deficient)  with different color of diarrhea, abdomen ache, fever at night

Composition: e jiao (grind separately into fine powder), wu mei  (remove pits, stir fry),  huang bai  (grind, stir fry),huang liandang gui (bake), chi shao yao gan jiang (bake), fu ling 15 g each.

Mix and grind all herbs. Add some water to make into pills, into size of soy bean. For small children, make the pills the size of mung beans.

Take 20 pills each time with empty stomach, with warm cooked rice water. Take 5 to 6 dosages every 24 hours.

Notice and Warning : during the period of taking this herb avoid fatty food.

藥方名:阿膠梅連丸《宜明論方》卷十。


主治: 陰虛下痢五色,腹痛,至夜發熱。

組成:金井阿膠(淨草灰炒透明白,別研,不細者再炒,研細) 烏梅肉(去核,炒),黃柏  (銼,炒),黃蓮當 歸 (焙),赤芍乾薑(炮),茯苓各15克

上藥研末,入阿膠研勻,水丸,如梧桐子大,小兒丸如綠豆大。每次10丸,空腹時用溫米飲送下,一晝夜五六服。


【禁忌】服藥期間,忌食油膩。
