Name of formula: zhi zi dou chi tang 《source: Shang Han Lun》
Application: After inducing sweating, vomiting and diarrhea, irritable and cannot sleep, with feeling of heat and noise inside the chest and diaphragm area.
Composition: zhi zi 14 pieces, cut, dan dou chi80 ml (put into cotton bag)
Simmer with 300 ml of water. Boilzhi zi first and render to 500 ml. Adddan dou chi and simmer down to 300 ml. Strain. Make into 2 servings. Take while warm. After vomiting, take the 2nd serving.
藥方名:梔子豉湯 《方源:傷寒論 》
主治:發汗吐下後,虛煩不得眠,心中懊儂。
組成:梔子十四個(擘),香豉80毫升(綿裹)。
上二味,以水800毫升,先煎梔子,煎至500毫升,然後加入豆豉,煮取300毫升,去滓。分為二次服,溫進一服,得吐者,止後再服。
註:汪必昌《醫階辨證》稱:「懊儂之狀,心下熱如火灼不寧,得吐則止」。這是胸膈間自覺有一種燒灼嘈雜感的症狀。
