Simmer with appropriate amount of water until mung bean is soft and tender to make soup. Recipe 2: chou cao mung bean soup For cooling and relieving swelling; as food supplement for those with nose and throat cancer, headache, blood in mucus from the nose, and uncomfortable dry throat. Composition: chou cao 20 g (put in last with rock sugar), rock sugar to taste, sheng di huang 40 g, lu dou 120 g, chen pi 1 piece (to taste). Add appropriate amount of water and simmer till lu dou (mung bean) is tender; then add chou cao and rock sugar.
