Actions & Indications: 主治﹕ | - Raw gu ya is good for helping digestion, soothing the stomach and promote digestive juices. It is being used in weak digestion, flatulence, and/or foul smelling mouth. When using it raw, it should be steeped in decoction after it is ready.
- Stir fried gu ya is good for helping digestion and ridding of stagnant food in the digestive tract.
- charred gu ya (jiao gu ya) can also stopping diarrhea.
- 生穀芽長於消食,和胃生津。用於食積不消,腹脹口臭,脾胃虛弱,不飢食少。生穀芽須冲服。
- 炒穀芽則增強健脾消食作用。
- 焦穀芽則兼可止瀉。
