| Medical functions: 藥理﹕ | Medical functions: Alcohol extract of 200mg/ml of the herb possesses the effect of inhibiting the tissues of rectum cancer or colon cancer in vitro. The water decoction of the herb possesses the destroying effect on the stable splitting of the Hela cells of cervic uterine in vitro. Using cell breathing method experiment, it showed that it can inhibit the leukemia cells above 75%. Alcohol extract of the herb possesses the inhibiting effect on transplanted tumor S-180 on mice, Ehrlich ascites tumor, brain tumor-22. Intravenous injection of the extract on animals showed hypotensive effect but oral application did not produce the same effect. The yellow needle like crystals of alcohol extract showed that it possesses diuretic effect on animals in experiments. The water decoction of the herb possesses the inhibiting effect on Staphylococcus aureus, Shigella dysenteriae, Salmonella typhi, and Escherichia coli. The extract of the herb mainly affects the blood vessels of the tumor tissue and causes the tumor become avascular necrosis.
藥理﹕ 醇制劑（200毫克/毫升）在腫瘤組 織培養液内對從人體採 取的直腸癌 ﹐結 腸 癌等的癌組 織 均有抑制作用 ； 水煎劑 對培養 稳定宫頸 癌细胞株分离的Hela细胞有破 壞 作用。 用细胞呼吸器法實 驗 對 白血病细胞有75%以上的抑制率。 醇制劑 对移植性小鼠肉瘤S-180﹐艾氏腹水癌﹐腦 瘤-22均有抑制其生長 的作用。 浸劑 對動 物 作静脉注射有降壓 作用；經 口给予则未產一同样作用。 浸劑經乙醚提取的 黃色針狀結晶形物質經動物試驗有利尿作用。 水煎劑 對金黄色葡萄球菌﹐痢疾桿 菌 ﹐傷寒桿菌 ﹐綠 膿 桿 菌﹐大腸桿 菌均有抑菌作用。 半枝蓮提煉物主要針對癌組織的血管，使癌組織因為得不到氧氣和養分供應而壞 死。
