coarse powder of yun zhi 2g, water 20ml. Water bath 10 minutes, filtered.Add 4-5 drops of test solution of alkaline copper tartrate, to 2ml of filtrate. Heat for 5 minutes on a water bath to produce a red precipitate. (Checking reducing sugar)
