yue ju wan 越鞠丸

Uses: strengthens digestive system, pain in the stomach, pain during menses,

depression.

Prescription:

xiang fu zi, cang zhu, chuan xiong, zhi zi, shen ju

, in equal amount.

Made into powder and make into pills with water.

Or, follow the original formula and adjust the amount according

to need and make into decoction.

Adjustment:

1. Blood stasis: add tao ren, hong hua

2. Qi stasis: add mu xiang , bin lang

3. Dampness: add fu ling, ze xie

4. Phlegm stasis: add ban xia, gua lou

5. Weak digestion: add mai ya, sha ren  , shan zha

6. Heat heavy: add huang lian, huang qin

Warning: do not use this formula by itself in cases of deficiency. It should be

used together with other warming formulae. In cases of liver stagnation with

deficiency, use xiao yao san with adjustments.

 

越鞠丸 (丹溪心法)

主治: 健胃除鬱，消化不良，神經性胃痛, 慢性胃腸病、慢性肝炎、

神經衰弱、婦女痛經, 一般氣血諸鬱所引起之胃痛，吞酸。

 

處方﹕

香 附 子、蒼朮、川芎、梔子、神麴

, 各等分研磨細末﹐

水泛為小丸。每次服用6 ~9 克。或按原方比例增減﹔水煎服。

 

加減﹕

1. 血鬱﹕加桃仁、紅花。

2. 氣鬱﹕加木香 、檳榔。

3. 濕鬱﹕加茯苓、澤瀉。

4. 痰鬱﹕加半夏、括蔞。

5. 食鬱﹕加麥芽、砂仁、山楂。

6. 火鬱﹕加黃連、黃芩。

用于實症諸鬱, 虛症不宜單獨使用。

虛症肝鬱使用逍遙散加減。
