Yáng líng quán  GB34  (in English and Chinese 中英文)

Locating the point: Yang ling quan point GB34 is in the lateral side of the leg, at the front fibular head, at the depression area.


Anatomy: there are peroneus longus and brevis; inferior lateral genicular artery and vein; peroneal nerve is divided into superficial peroneal nerve and at deep peroneal nerve.


Indications: hemiplegia, lower limb paralysis, numbness, knee swelling, athlete's foot, flank pain, mouth pain, vomiting, jaundice, convulsions in children, tetanus.
 

Compatibility:It is compatibility with Qu chi point for treatment of hemiplegia; with the re yue point, qi men point, dan shu point, zhi yang point to treat jaundice, cholecystitis, gallstones; with zu san li point and shang lian point for treatment of pain in the rib cage.


Acupuncture and moxibustion method: perpendicularly or diagonal poke down to 1-1.5 inch.

Moxibustion also can be used.

 

陽陵泉穴 GB34
[定位]在小腿外側,當腓骨小頭前下方凹陷處。
[解剖]在腓骨長、短肌中;有膝下外側動、靜脈;當腓總神經分為腓淺神經及腓深神經處。
[主治]半身不遂,下肢痿痺、麻木,膝腫痛,腳氣,脅肋痛,口苦,嘔吐,黃疸,小兒驚風,破傷風。
[配伍]配曲池治半身不遂;配日月、期門、膽俞、至陽治黃疸、膽囊炎、膽結石;配足三裡、上廉治胸脅痛。
[刺灸法]直刺或斜向下刺1-1.5寸;可灸。
