xue lin 血淋                  (in English and Chinese 中英文)

Xue lin is a TCM term. The syndrome includes short urination with the sensation of more urine to come but can not empty completely; tightness in the lower abdomen; the pain projects to wait and abdomen; redness in urine or contains pieces of clot blood or even discharging blood.

Clinically, urine contains blood and with astrigent pain and with short dribbling urination, it is considered "xue lin".

Chronic pyelonephritis, urethral syndrome, bladder cancer and other illnesses with  bladder irritation with hematuria falls under the area of "xue lin".


血淋:小便短澀.滴瀝刺痛,欲出未盡,小腹拘急,或痛引腰腹.小便紅赤,或夾有血塊,甚者可溺出純血。

臨床上以尿血而兼小便滴瀝澀痛者,稱為血淋。


慢性腎盂腎炎,尿道綜合徵,膀胱癌等病症表現有膀胱刺激症狀並伴有血尿者均屬"血淋" 範圍。
