sheng tie luo yin 生鐵落飲

Name of Formula: sheng tie luo yin

Application: mania, seizure.

Composition:

tian men dong(remove cores)mai dong(remove coresbei mu 9 g each dan nan xing ju hong yuan zhi shi chang pulian qiao fu lingfu shen3 g each 玄xuan shengou teng   dan shen 4.5 g each zhu sha (cinnabar, HgS)  0.9g tie luo 30 g (bag separately) 。
 

Add water and simmer tie luo for 3 hours. Use the decoction to boil the other herbs. Use before sleep. Do not disturb and wake up the patient.

 

Warning: zhu sha is toxic. In some countries, it is illegal to prescribe zhu shan (cinnabar, HgS).

 

【藥方名】生 鐵落飲 《醫學心語》

 

【功能主治】鎮 心安神,清熱化痰。治癲、狂、癇。

 

【處方】 天門冬(去心)麥 冬(去心)貝 母 各 9克 南 星 橘 紅 遠 志 石菖蒲連 翹 茯 苓茯 神各3克 玄 參鉤 藤   丹 參 各 4.5克 辰砂  0.9克 生鐵 落 30克 (另包)。

【用法用量】用生鐵落煎熬三小時,取此水煎藥服。服安神靜睡,不可驚駭叫醒,犯之則病復作,難乎為力。

注意:朱砂有毒。不能多用。有些国家禁用朱砂。
