Non-alcoholic fatty liver and hypertension  (in English and Chinese

by: Joe Hing Kwok Chu

In middle-aged and old adults from the general population, non-alcoholic fatty liver is found to associate with risk of hypertension and high-normal systolic blood pressure. Detection of non-alcoholic, even with normal ALT levels, should serve as warning sign to modify lifestyle. [1]
