Migraine, Food
Food to avoid: Monosodium glutamate, miso, soy sauce, liquid aminos, hydrolyzed protein fermented food like: yogurt, beer, wine, aged cheese, pickles, cured meat: like ham, hot dog, bacon, corned beef, corned turkey, lunch meat. Some people are allergic to over ripen bananas, citrus, and beans like soy bean, lima bean, Food may be beneficial to migraine: Fish, fish oil, fish soup. Food high in vitamin E: avocado, almond, sunflower seed, peanut or peanut butter (if you are not allergic to peanuts). Samples of Fish Dishes (folk medicine) Recipe: tian ma 25 g, chuan xiong 10 g, fu ling 10 g, 1 fresh carp Rinse rice and discard the water. Rinse again and save the water. Soak in chuan xiong, fu ling, tian ma for 4 to 6 hours. Take out tian ma pieces and place them in a bow and steam them on top of the rice (toward the end of cooking cycle). Place the tian ma pieces inside the cavity of cleaned carp. Place the carp in a bowl and add some ginger, green onion and water and steam it for 30 minutes. Add seasoning to taste. 天麻鯉魚羹 (民間食療方) 材料:天麻 25克﹐川 芎10克﹐茯 苓 10克﹐鮮鯉魚一尾。 作法:將川芎﹐茯苓切片,與天麻一同放入兩次米泔水中,浸泡四 到六小時,撈出天麻,置米飯上蒸透,切片,再將天麻片放入去鱗 ﹐鰓﹐內臟之魚腹中,置盆內,加少量薑﹐蔥﹐清水,蒸卅分鐘, 再按一般方法做調味羹湯,澆於魚上即成。 以上 <天麻鯉魚頭羹> 取材自﹕黃介良/台北市立中醫醫院針灸科主任 Recipe 2:
chuan xiong 3 g, bai zhi 9 g, tian ma 9 g, shu di huang 9, fresh carp head 1 piece. Use in regular meals. For deficient type of body with blood stasis.
天麻魚頭羹 適合﹕體質虛弱﹐淤重者 川 芎 3克﹐白 芷 9克﹐天麻 9克﹐熟地黃 9克﹐燉魚頭。
定期服用。 菊花茶 適合﹕肝火過旺 白菊花 9克﹐白芍 9克﹐白 芷 9克﹐白蒺藜 3克﹐ 石決明 30克。 水煎﹐當茶喝。
