| Medical functions: 藥理﹕ | - In in-vitro sudy, it showed that lu feng fang can inhibit cancer cells of the lungs. Using methylene blue staining method, it showed that lu feng fang is effective in inhibiting the cancer cells of the stomach.
- The alcohol, ether or ketone extract of lu feng fang can promote the coagulation of blood. All the extract can strengthen the heart activity, lower blood pressure temporary and possesses diuretic effect.
- The oil of lu feng fang can rid of tape worms but due to its toxicity, it is not suitable for that purposes.\
- The oil of lu feng fang, in concentration, can inhibit the in-vitro heart of frogs. It possesses a strong stimulating effect on kidneys and can cause acute nephritis.
藥理﹕ - 體外實驗：能抑制人肝癌細 胞，用美藍法對胃癌細胞有效。
- 醇，醚，酮等浸出液都有促進血液凝固的作用，各浸出液均能增強心臟活動，使血壓短時下降，並 有利尿作用。
- 露蜂房油能驅除絛虫，但毒性很強， 故不宜作驅虫藥。
- 露蜂房油高濃度對離體蛙心能產生抑制作用，對腎臟刺激性較強，能導致急性腎炎。
