huang qi gui zhi wu wu tang 黄芪桂枝五物湯

Name of Formula: huang qi gui zhi wu wu tang （Source of formula:Jin Gui)

Application:

Peripheral neuropathy, sequelae of strokes, arthritis, sciatica, Raynaud's syndrome, scleroderma, myocarditis, bedsores, angioedema (angioneurotic edema, Quincke's edema ) caused by qixu (qi deficient) and blood deficient with infection of the blood vessels. cerebral palsy [2].

Prescription:

huang qi 18 g, bai shao 10 g, gui zhi, 10 g, sheng jiang 12 g, da zao 6 pieces

Boil with water. Use as tea.

Adjustment to formula:

If qixu (qi deficient) is serious, change huang qi to 30 g, and add dang shen 18 g.
If xue xu (blood deficient) is serious, add ji xue teng 18 g﹐dang gui 12 g
If syndrome of cold or flu is obvious, add fang feng12 g﹐jing jie 12 g
If the cold or flu is accompanied with plegm, add fa ban xia12 g﹐bai jie zi 10 g, bai fu zi 8 g.
If numbness is serious, add quan xie 4 g﹐jiang can 8 g

Causes of restless leg syndrome can be:

1. A chronic disease , such as: kidney failure , diabetes, peripheral neuropathy. Therapy improves symptoms often improve over restless leg symptoms.
2, Certain drugs may aggravate restless leg symptoms, such as:
Dopamine receptor blocking drugs:
The anti-nausea drugs :

prochlorperazine or metoclopramide hydrochloride (metoclopramide; trade name : metoclopramide, Reglan, Reglan ODT, Metozol ODT, Octamide, Maxolon ( this name has been discontinued ) metoclopramide (Maxolon) , also known as the monohydrochloride salt, metoclopramide (Paspertin), dihydrochloride Primperan).

Antipsychotics , such as:

haloperidol (Haloperidol) or
phenothiazine derivatives.

antidepressants: increase serotonin drugs ,

Celexa (citalopram)

Fluvoxamine maleate, Luvox (fluvoxamine)
Prozac (fluoxetine HCl)
Paxil (paroxetine)
Zoloft (sertraline)

cold and allergy medicines containing sedating antihistamines : such as

Allegra,
Benadryl,
Claritin,
Chlor-Trimeton,
Dimetane, Zyrtec,
Tavist etc

3 . Pregnancy, especially in the last three months. After four weeks of production , general symptoms usually disappear.

黄芪桂枝五物湯《金櫃》

[功用] 益氣和營，温經通痹。

[主治] 血痹証。症见肌膚麻木不仁，脉微涩而緊者。

[藥方組成] 黃耆18 克﹐白芍 10 克﹐桂枝 10 克﹐生姜 10 克﹐大棗 6枚

[臨床應用] 周圍神經炎，腦中風後遺症，關節炎，坐骨神經痛，雷諾氏病，硬皮病，心肌炎，褥瘡，血管神經性水腫等属于營衛氣虛, 血虛，復感風邪入侵血脉者，腦性麻痺症。

[加减法]

如果氣虛甚，黃耆用量改為30克﹐加黨參18克
如果虛甚，加雞血藤18 克﹐當歸12克
如果風邪明顯，加防風12 克﹐荊芥12克
如果兼有痰湿，加法半夏12 克﹐白芥子10 克 ﹐白附子8 克。
如果麻木甚，加全蠍 4 克﹐殭蠶 8克

不安腿

不安腿致病原因可能有：

1. 慢性疾病，如:

治療改善以上病症常可改善不安腿症状。

2. 某些藥物可能會加重不安腿症狀，如：

阻斷多巴胺受體的藥物：

防反胃之藥物：丙氯拉嗪 (prochlorperazine) 或鹽酸甲氧氯普胺 (metoclopramide ;商標名：metoclopramide, Reglan, Reglan ODT, Metozol ODT, Octamide, Maxolon (此名己取消) 胃復安 (Maxolon) 亦稱為單鹽酸鹽，滅吐靈(Paspertin)，二鹽酸鹽 Primperan)。
抗精神病藥物，如：氟哌啶醇 (Haloperidol)或吩噻嗪衍生物 (phenothiazine derivatives)。

. 抗抑鬱藥，增加血清素藥物，如：

西酞普蘭 Celexa (citalopram)
三氟戊肟胺, 馬來酸氟戊肟胺, 氟甲沙明 Luvox (fluvoxamine)
鹽酸氟西汀 Prozac (fluoxetine HCl)
帕羅西汀 Paxil (paroxetine)
舍曲林, 復蘇樂 Zoloft (sertraline)

含有鎮靜作用的抗組胺藥物的感冒藥與抗過敏藥物：如

Allegra,
Benadryl,
Claritin,
Chlor-Trimeton,
Dimetane,
Zyrtec,
Tavist. 等

3. 妊娠，尤其是在最後三個月。在生産4週之後，一般症狀通常會消失。

4. 使用多巴神胺經遞質的基底神經節的電路之功能障礙 [1]

5. 缺少維生素B12

Above are commonly used drugs for restless leg syndrome (RLS) and periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD)

Note:

Dopamine agonists stimulate the receptors in nerves in the brain that normally would be stimulated by dopamine. Unlike levodopa, a dopamine agonist is not changed (converted) into dopamine when it enters the body, but it behaves like dopamine.

Benzodiazepine works by decreasing abnormal electrical activity in the brain.
Carbamazepine is used alone or in combination with other medications to control certain types of seizures.
Pergolide msylate (Permax) has been withdrawn from the U.S. market since March 29, 2007 due to the possibility of heart valve damage. It is used to treat Parkinson's disease, hyperprolactinemia, stiffness, tremors, spasms, and poor muscle control,and restless leg syndrome.

大棗 15 克﹐雞血藤 20 g﹐當歸10 g﹐伸筋草20 g。

睡眠障礙者加夜交藤 30 g，柏子仁 20 g。水煎服，每日1劑，連服 30天。

如有血管功能障礙性疾病：加薑黃 9 克，水蛭 3 克（入煎剤）。

如有舊傷生骨刺：加威靈仙 30 克﹐苦參 10 克﹐穿山甲 10 克﹐香附子10克﹐透骨草10 克。
