Ju hong that grows there absorbe the mineral thus is good for treating cough. 據《化州縣志》載：化州鎮賴家園所產的橘紅，稱為正品化州橘紅，藥效特別好，主要原因是該地 蘊藏著礞石(礞石具有化痰止咳作用)，土層深厚，橘紅生長吸收了土壤裡礞石所致。 |

Hua ju gong is the skin of the immature pummelo produce in Hua zhou district of Guangdong. The old fruit have less of the active ingredients. Traditionally, the herb dictionaries always specified using the immature fruit.
