han tan 寒痰      (in English and Chinese 中英文)

Han tan syndrome: Han tan literally means cold phlegm. Usually the patients are also diagnosed as shenyangxu (kidney yang deficient). When the respiratory tract is invaded by cold wind or pollens, dust, dust mites, droppings of dust mites, it secretes a large amount of mucus and becomes phlegm. The color of the phlegm is white. The patients like to drink hot liquid. The fur of the the tongues are thin and white or greasy.

 寒痰。病人一般是腎陽虛者。若風寒或花粉,灰塵,塵蟎侵入呼吸器官 ,呼吸道內排出大量的黏液而成痰。痰呈白色。病人喜熱飲,舌苔薄白或膩。

 

按此看風痰證 與痰濕證之鑒別。
