Name of Formula: dang gui jian zhong tang (source: Shang Han Lun)   

Application:  

• lack of appetite

• tonic for anemia after giving birth.

Composition:

• dang gui 7 g,

• gui zhi 6 g , 

• sheng jiang 6 g ,

• da zao 6 g ,

• shao yao 10 g,

• yi tang  (malt sugar) 50 g.

Add water 600 cc. Simmer till 200 cc is left.

Make into 3 servings per day.

Serve while still warm.

Adjust formula according to diagnostics.

當 歸 健 中 湯 。 (仲景方)

當 歸  7克 ， 桂 枝 ， 生 姜  ， 大 棗 6克 ，

芍藥 10克 ， 飴 糖 50克 。  水 600 cc 煎

至 200 cc。  一 日 分 三 回 溫 服 。

辨證加減。
