Medical functions: 藥理﹕	Medical functions: Anti bacteria phlegm expectorant anti-tumor, inhibits Lymphoblastic Leukemia anti-fungal effect anticoagulant effect 藥理作用] 抑菌試驗: 花﹐莖或葉水浸劑或乙醇提取液，對溶血性鏈球菌有較強的抑菌作用，並對金黃色葡萄球菌﹐傷寒桿菌﹐福氏痢疾桿菌有一定抑菌作用。 白花丹精及白花丹酸有祛痰作用，β-谷甾醇有鎮咳作用，香莢蘭酸有鎮咳作用。 白花丹精對大鼠纖維肉瘤及P388淋巴細胞白血病有抑制及抗癌活性，且為有絲分裂抑制劑。 白花丹精對霉菌也有一定抑制作用。 白花丹精有抗凝血活性。

Actions & Indications: 主治﹕	roots are being used for treating rheumatoid arthritis, swelling and pain from injuries, expelling bruises, stomachache, swelling of liver and spleen. Leaves in external uses for: pain and swelling from injuries, sprain, and skin fungal infection. 根主治風濕骨痛，跌打腫痛，散瘀消腫﹐胃痛，肝脾腫大。葉外用治跌打腫痛，扭挫傷，體癬。

Dosage: 用量﹕	root: 9 to 15 g. Simmer for more than 4 hours. 根9～15克(久煎3～4小時以上)

Antidote: 中毒解救﹕	If allergenic reaction on the skin in external applications occurs, use boric acid solution to wash the affected areas and apply ointment of boric acid on the sores. In case of toxic reaction in ingesting the fresh plant, take egg  white, sugar solution, and activated carbon. If numbness appears, use camphor or other cardiac stimulants, and IV feeding of glucose solution, saline solution according to symptoms. 若皮膚中毒可用清水或硼酸水洗滌，如糜爛時可用硼酸軟膏敷患處。服鮮品中毒後服蛋清﹐糖水﹐活性炭，出現麻痺時可給樟腦等強心興奮劑﹐靜脈注射葡萄糖鹽水等對症治療。
Cautions: 注意事項與禁忌﹕	Boil more than 3 to 4 hours to reduce toxicity. Not to use in cases of pregnancies. Not to exceed 30 minutes in external application. Remove when the area applied feels hot. Large dosages and/or long term usage can be toxic to kidneys. 有毒成分藍雪素即磯松素（plumbagin，C11H8O3）(石墨)。 須久煎﹐3 至4小時以上。 本品的鮮葉搗爛敷在皮膚，是強烈的起泡引赤劑，不可久敷。 孕婦忌服；葉外用適量，搗爛敷患處，一般外敷不宜超過30分鐘，局部有灼熱感即除去。 大劑量或長期服用可能對腎臟有毒。
